Mom and I always have the best time traveling together. We laugh and giggle like young girls and we both enjoy visiting with our dear friends that always come by our booth. We met so many new shop owners this time and feel that lots of new friendships were made as well. We look forward to seeing everyone again this fall in Houston. A very special thank you to everyone that made our trip so much fun!

On our way to market, we were able to stop at several shops along the way...our first stop was in Paducah and Hancocks. The next stop was in St. Charles Mo. at the Kalico Patch, but you won't see pictures......I think I forgot the camera at that time, but after a good night's rest in St. Charles, we headed for Mexico.......yes, that's right, Mexico, Mo. and I fell in love. There were several shops there - a Singer Store that had been converted to a quilt shop, and this shop, Sticky Wickett. I felt right at home.

Then in the same little town of Mexico, Mo. I found Homestead Hearth! And, to my delight, they carried my patterns. If you ever get to this small town in Missouri, you've got to go to Homestead Hearth. What a delight and the gals there are so very nice too. We had a great time.

Another favorite shop we got to visit was The Hen House. Isn't this a wonderful house? It was built back in the 1800's and Oh, it was grand. Upstairs was wool and yarn and all down stairs was a quilt shop. Do I need to say more? It's always fun to visit out of town shops.........you get to see fabrics your local shops don't carry. I love this place!
