International Quilt Market is always fun and exciting. Seeing old friends, making new ones!

While riding in the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, I kept thinking I'd see Mary Tyler Moore standing on the street corner ready to throw her hat up in the air for us to see. Not!

Since you couldn't be there with me, I hope you enjoy visiting some of the city through the pictures I took.

Through a maze of skywalks you could walk from the various hotels surrounding the convention center. To this Florida girl, it was amazing to say the least. I had never seen anything like that. This is the entrance to the convention center.

Another view of the convention center.

From what I could see surrounding the convention center, the city skyline was impressive. These next three pictures are of the city.

The weather couldn't have been nicer. Low 40's in the morning and high 60's during the day. There were wonderful restaurants with sidewalk cafe's. I was told that the city has been very prosperous throughout the years, unlike some downtown areas.

There were two beautiful churches that I could see.
