2011 NovDec News
2011 Nov/Dec Primtive Pieces by Lynda News
As you can see from the dates listed it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to give you the news here on the website. I am very happy to be writing to you today to let you know that in just a very short while….a few days I think…..my new site will be up and running.
Basically you will see the same format when you visit, but I do hope you enjoy some of the new features.
.The Keeping Room will still show you what’s new…..thumbnail, then click on it to open it up.
.The Pattern Page will show you thumbnail pictures of each of the patterns, click on them to open them up. This is where you will also order the patterns. Use your back button to navigate through the pages.
The Pattern Page will also have a link that says “collage of quilts made by others” click there to see the picture.
.The Parlor Room will still show the individual pictures of what everyone has made – but if you’re rushed for time the pattern page will show it all to you quickly. Mor collages will be made as you send me pictures of the quilts you’ve made from my patterns.
.The Mercantile is where you check on shipping. It's difficult to get the shipping exactly to the penny. The shipping charges are set up for the patterns. IF you purchase a kit or something out of the pantry and the shipping is more, I will notify you of additional charges. Thanks for your understanding.
.The Back Porch will show you backs of quilts……..please send me pictures of the backs of your quilts. It inspires others to see how everyone makes their backs.
.The Telegraph Office is a combination of articles I’ve written, visits to quilt guilds, seasonal home decorations, and the corrections to the patterns information
.The Box Lunch Social page is for anyone that would like to volunteer for the breast cancer projects I’m involved with………stay turned for news about that coming up - check the event calendar (January 2012) for the last day to sign up.
.The Pantry is where items can be purchased other than the quilt patterns. You’ll find Quilts for Sale, Note Cards for Sale, Notions and Kits……….check often because they will be added and sold on a first come first serve basis (the finished goods and quilts) The other items will be stocked.
.The Trunk Show page deals with wholesale……..if you’d like to be a vendor please fill out the form to sign up. By doing this you can order directly from the website - your welcome letter will also offer you some bennies for signing up.
.The Train Depot will show you other websites you might be interested in. I love sharing links, so if you have one please let me know.
.Across the bottom of the website you will see where you can sign the guest book, contact me, look at an event calendar, etc………….how fun is all this??????? I’m so excited to be able to actually share more with you.
