Every time I am asked to attend a gathering to teach it's always "ME" that comes home having learned from others there. That's what is so much fun. I just returned from The Primitives of the Midwest Gathering which was hosted by Rita Briner from Quilter's Station in Lee's Summit, Missouri. It was 4 fun filled days of seeing old friends, meeting new ones, sewing, shopping, eating, sewing and more shopping and very little sleep. Rita's Staff and friends took very good care of all of us. Every day were were treated to a wonderful lunch prepared entirely by the people that work there. We were able to drive to surrounding areas and visit antique shops, other quilt shops including trips to surrounding towns. We were treated to a wonderful visit to Missouri town. We were transported back to the 1800's. My very favorite time period. Since you couldn't make it this year,I'd like to share some of the pictures that were taken during this event. And, next year I hope you will join me in Lee's Summit for the next gathering.

This picture was taken of Donna (left), jeanne and me at the airport at gate 33. We had a good flight.

I stayed by the luggage outside while Jeanne and Donna were inside. There was this car and an older looking Pick up. I knew we had lots of luggage, but I sure was hoping they didn't come out with the keys to the pick up.
