Quilt Market is always fun for everyone that attends. This fall was no different! Driving to Houston was not without challenges due to the hurricane damage along the gulf coast. Mom and I started out early on Tuesday morning, but could only travel to Pensacola before stopping for the day. Hotels were not plentiful during our trip. The second day was a longer day to travel, but we entertained ourselves by listening to books on tape. If you haven't read Nora Roberts, The Blue Dahlia and The Black Rose, you might want to. It's wonderful. The third book isn't out yet. Our return trip took much longer than expected so our at home arrival date was delayed. As you all know.........there is no place like home!

Market was unually quiet this fall, but those who did attend made the trip worth while. Pinny 'n Pa, Remember Them, and Santa Jack were received very well and your local shops have the pattern now. We met many new shop owners and I will be listing them on the website very soon.

Below you will see a ton of pictures of the booth this time around. It had a general store feel to it. We were in the second row of booths and so we were swamped right at the start of the show.

A very BIG thank you to Carol Crago and Sue Barros from my local quilt shop, Good Home Quilt Company in Orlando, for all the help and support getting my booth set up for all the market attendees.
