Skeeter continues to watch as the building takes shape. When the walls went up, he had a harder time seeing what was going on.........but he continued to watch.

The insulation was the first thing to go in when the walls were up.........oh, it was very exciting. Sorry, just a few more pictures of various stages and then you get to see the real thing.....soon, I promise.

When I saw the dry wall going up, I could just picture the wall paper hanging. It was ordered and before I knew it, it was happening!

One of the things I requested, was LIGHT and lots of it! Soooooooo, I have eight, 8 foot light fixtures and it's day light in there no matter what time of day it is.........I can have only two of them on down in the cutting sewing area, or 4.........I can have only two of them on in the center section where I can sit at a table and do my applique for quilts or wool projects......of if I have to be in the office.......I can put on one light there to see my way. Darn.....those bills have to be paid no matter what!

Here in Florida insulation for the walls and the ceiling are different. Perhaps it's that way where you are too.......Because we don't have harsh winters the walls don't have to be as insulated as the ceiling does because of all our hot days.

Shelves, Shelves, Shelves.........were the only thing on my mind when it came to my sewing room. I've been harboring fabric for at least a year.....in my down stairs shower. It wanted to be free! Curt kept asking me why I needed to have 30 feet of floor to ceiling shelves and I just looked at him and smiled.....This week (I know, you'll see it soon) I have been filling the shelves with fabric. Guess what? Only three shelves remain with nothing on it.........and there is still more where that came from. Hmmm

Topaz, my sewing partner, has checked out the room. She's very happy to be part of it. She has a box with her fabric stash for when we sew and she has a sleeping box for when she's tired. You know how creative minds are...........can't over work them all at one time!
