PRIMITIVE PIECES BY LYNDA NEWS
VOL.2 - Mar/April
Winter - Winter go Away! I think it's safe to say that we are all ready to see spring. It's been a very long and cold winter everywhere. I was sure most of the plants in my yard were gone because of the extreme cold weather here in Florida, but to my amazement I'm seeing some new growth starting to happen. For the ones that didn't make it, I'll replant as we surely enjoy all the butterflies that come to visit each year.
WELCOME to all new email and pattern club members. I've been involved with a CRAFTSHOP SHUFFLE for the past several months. PATTERN CLUB NAME: It has been brought to my attention that the Pattern Club should have a name. I've already asked everyone on my blog to come up with a name that they think it should be. You can see all the names listed on my blog that have come in so far. http://www.primitivepiecesbylynda.blogspot.com If you have a name you think would be good for the group, please email me or post it on the blog. All names will be taken into consideration and the final name will be in the next news letter. PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS to TRISHA WOODfor being the winner of the March 15th PATTERN CLUB DRAWING!
I started a Pattern DEAL OF THE MONTH, but somehow dropped the ball. I'm sorry. Primitive Youngins was the last deal of the month. Everyone that had a book or purchased a book from the deal of the month was asked to play a game. We did this on my blog. Everyone that wanted to participate made one block from the quilt that was chosen (Let's Play Jacks) and then sent to me. When the time was up, a name was drawn and the winner received all the blocks. The winner was - SHARON YEAGER! A picture of all the blocks was posted on my blog. Sharon is going to send me a picture of her completed top and it will also be posted on my blog.
Thank you to everyone that have purchased the new "Primitive Note Cards"! I have heard so many nice things from each of you. There will be new cards added soon, so please check often.
Update on the "It's a Crock" buttons...I just heard that they should be arriving within 3 weeks. I will let everyone know as soon as they come in. If you still want to get them, please let me know and I will add you to the list.
NEW DEAL OF THE MONTH.......Bull's Eye Pattern......normally $10.00 is reduced to $8.00 The quilt is shown above.
Well, I think that brings everyone up to date. If I have additional news to share, you will see it right here! Spring is in the air! Enjoy. Until next time, Lynda
